Artist’s Statement

I write about sex as a vehicle for self-discovery. I like to complicate boundaries between genders, sexual orientations, and sexual mores. My writing will ask you to interrogate judgments, narratives and shames that surround your relationship with sex.

While my writing supports themes of queerness, kink, fetish, indulgence, sex work, and abstinence, my bigger loyalty lies with breaking established narratives about sex in order to understand (without judgment) what our sexuality is doing in any given moment.

My writing seeks to be sex positive, body positive, and pro-androgyny. I believe sex is a metaphor for life, and that South Beach, where my writing is typically set, is the current capital of the world.
